MGM hosted its fourth “Amazing Songkran in Macau” gala dinner at MGM Cotai last week, bringing together more than 250 Thai guests as part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen engagement with Southeast Asian source markets.

The event, held at the MGM Theater, featured Thai-inspired cultural performances, themed décor, and a curated dining experience prepared by MGM’s culinary team, which blended Sino-Thai influences.

A dedicated selection of Thai street food was also offered, including tom yum seafood noodle soup, Thai shrimp cakes, Moo Ping skewers, coconut pancakes, pandan banana tarts, and Thai-flavored ice cream.

Thai entertainer Pexky Sretunya made her China debut at the event, performing a set of popular hits and headlining the evening’s entertainment programme.

Thailand remains an important inbound tourism market for Macau. Official data showed Thai visitor arrivals rose 31.8% year-on-year in the first two months of 2026, with MGM reporting steady growth in Thai clientele across its properties.
