Studio City launches Thailand-themed buffet at Spotlight restaurant

Studio City Macau has launched a new themed dining experience, “The World on A Plate – The Taste of Thailand Buffet,” at its Spotlight restaurant, running through May 8.

Timed to coincide with Thailand’s Songkran Festival, the buffet highlights authentic Thai flavors and cultural elements, offering guests a multi-sensory Southeast Asian culinary journey without leaving Macau.

The initiative reflects Studio City’s ongoing efforts to diversify the city’s gastronomy scene and reinforce its status as a UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy.

Building on previous themed events, the latest edition introduces Thailand’s rich food culture through interactive dining and entertainment aimed at families and younger visitors.

The buffet features nearly 100 Thai dishes representing different regions, alongside seasonal seafood selections and live culinary stations. Thai guest chef Bansani Nawisamphan is also collaborating with the in-house team for a limited period.

An evening workshop allows diners to learn how to prepare mango sticky rice, adding an interactive element to the experience.
