The Unitary Police Services (SPU) have begun recruiting civil protection volunteers to participate in civil protection activities and preparatory drills in 2026. According to the SPU, there are 100 openings for local residents aged 18 to 55 who are interested in supporting civil protection efforts, particularly through awareness-raising and civic education activities, assistance work, and post-incident recovery support. Applications can be submitted in person at the SPU Resource Management Department during office hours or online via the SPU website or the “Civil Protection Volunteers” mobile application by March 31.
