Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG) and Macau Special Olympics (MSO) co-hosted the “GEG Macau Special Olympics Inclusive Table Tennis Fun Day 2026,” marking the 16th consecutive year of the initiative promoting inclusion through sports.
Held at Galaxy Macau, the event attracted nearly 1,000 participants and coincided with the ITTF Men’s and Women’s World Cup Macao 2026. Activities included table tennis matches, interactive games, and an “Inclusive Doubles” format pairing GEG staff with MSO athletes. A new “Caregivers Challenge” encouraged broader participation.
In the lead-up, inclusion workshops were held in local schools, engaging students in activities highlighting empathy and accessibility.
Organizers said the program aims to foster social inclusion and community engagement.
Representatives from GEG, MSO, and the International Table Tennis Federation attended the opening ceremony, emphasizing the role of sports in promoting equality and connection across different abilities.
